We know that moving into college can feel overwhelming—especially on move-in day. At Lofty Furnishing, our goal is to make that first day in your dorm as smooth as possible. Below is everything you need to know:
1. Place Your Order
- Choose your finish. Select from Clean White, Natural Cedar, English Chestnut, or Espresso.
- Book your install slot. Pick the date and 1-hour window that works best for you.
- Provide room details. Enter your hall name and room number so our team can find you.
- Apply referral codes. If a friend sent you our way, this is the time to enter your coupon.
- Complete payment. Don’t worry—there are no hidden fees for delivery or installation.
What you’ll receive immediately:
A confirmation email with your order summary, install date/time, and some other info.
2. Pre-Installation Reminder
- Timing: We send this 24 hours before your scheduled slot.
- Contents:
- A recap of your appointment date, time, and room location.
- Tips on how to prepare your space (see next section).
3. How to Prepare Your Room
- Clear the floor. Remove any rugs, boxes, or loose items in your loft area.
- Inform your roomate(s). Don’t give them a surprise, let them know we are coming.
4. Installation Day (≈30 Minutes)
- We arrive on time. Our team checks in at your hall entrance and calls you when we’re outside.
- Lead us to your room. Simply point us to the right door—no need to muscle heavy parts up the stairs.
- Hands-free assembly. We unpack, assemble, and level your new loft frame using professional tools.
- Final safety checks. We verify stability, tighten connections, and test weight capacity.
5. Post-Install Walkthrough
- We’ll walk you through your new loft setup, demonstrate its features, and make sure everything is installed perfectly.
- You’ll get a PDF care guide and our contact details in case you have any questions down the road.
6. Ambassador Program (Optional)
- Ambassador Perk: Complimentary Uninstallation. We’ll remove your loft and reassemble your original bed frame at no extra charge.
- Referral rewards. Earn money when friends book using your code.

7. Change of Plans
- Reschedules & cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your install slot to avoid a late-cancel fee.
